Hi there! I'm Spencer Bywater, a Software Engineer from Phoenix, Arizona.
When I was younger and the Internet was first coming about, I was curious about how it all worked. This led me to start learning HTML; I have fond memories of poring over printed-out cheatsheets, trying all of the different tags and figuring out what each of them did. Throughout my teen years, I continued learning CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies until college, where majoring in Computer Science at Arizona State University was a natural career path for me.
For work, I mostly specialize in frontend development with JavaScript. Currently I enjoy working on modern web applications built with React. I am also experienced across the stack, having worked on backend and API code with Node.js, PHP, and Python, and interfacing with various SQL databases.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring various technical hobbies, including tinkering with electronics and Arduino, 3D printing, mechanical keyboards, and computer hardware. My posts will be about a mix of topics related to software development and my other interests!
If you would like to contact me with questions or career opportunities, please feel free to reach out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
